Sushant Singh Rajput case: Chief Justice Bench will hear PIL against Aditya Thackeray, will also take update on Disha Salian case

A new update has emerged in the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian murder case. Now the PIL filed against Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray in this case is going to be heard. This hearing will be held on July 31 before a bench of Chief Justice Devendra Upadhyay and Justice Amit Borkar.

On this occasion, CBI and state police will have to submit their status report. Also, they will have to inform the High Court about the investigation of both the cases.

The petition was filed in September 2023
In September 2023, Supreme Court and High Court and Litigants Association President Rashid Khan Pathan had filed a petition in this matter. After which Maharashtra Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis came into action.

Chimaji was accused of saving Thackeray
Fadnavis had formed the SIT which included Police Commissioner Rajiv Jain, DCP Ajay Bansal and Senior PI Chimaji Adhav. MLA Nitesh Rane had objected to the inclusion of senior PI in this team.

Secondly, the activists also questioned the integrity of Chimaji because he did not talk about the scene of Disha Salian's death. Not only this, Chimaji did not file an FIR till date despite having sufficient evidence. He is accused of trying to save Aditya Thackeray.

Disha died on June 8 and Sushant died on June 14.

Sushant died 6 days after Disha's death
On 14 June 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput's body was found hanging in his flat. Just a few days before this, on 8 June, his manager Disha Salian also died after falling from the 14th floor of the building. Both the deaths were suspicious, but till date no disclosure has been made on this.
