Leader Online Desk: Indian-origin astronaut Sunita Williams successfully flew into space for the third time on Wednesday (5). Sunita and one of her colleagues successfully flew the Boeing Company's Starliner spacecraft. Sunita Williams has created new history by becoming the first member of the International Space Station.

Boeing's crewed flight test mission carrying Williams and Butch Wilmore launched from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida after several delays. Sunita Williams, an American citizen of Indian origin, has made history as the first woman to fly on such a mission.

The spacecraft mission failed in the third attempt

Earlier, Indian-origin astronaut Sunita Williams was scheduled to go into space for the third time on Saturday (June 1). Meanwhile, the computer stopped counting three minutes before the start of the journey. As a result, Sunita Williams' journey was postponed. Then on Wednesday (June 6) the Boeing Company's Starliner campaign got a big launch (Sunita Williams).

Sunita Williams will stay in space for 1 week

US space agency NASA said, “If all goes well, the Starliner will land on the International Space Station. Sunita Williams will then spend about a week in space with her colleague Butch Wilmore to test the Starliner spacecraft and its subsystems.”

'Arriving in space, it will feel like returning home'; Sunita

Reacting to this NASA mission, Sunita said, I am a bit nervous; But the new spacecraft is excited to fly. When I reach the International Space Station, I will feel like I am back home,” Sunita also expressed emotionally. Sunita, 59, has also helped NASA engineers design the Starliner spacecraft.

Astronaut Sunita Williams participated in these missions
