Leader Online Desk: Telangana Chief Minister and Congress leader Revanth Reddy has been summoned in connection with the inappropriate social media videos edited on Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He has been asked to appear for questioning by the Delhi Police on Wednesday, May 1, India Today reported.
Delhi Police has summoned Revanth Reddy for questioning along with all the electronic gadgets used by him on May 1, he said. The action comes a day after the Delhi Police registered a case following a complaint by the Home Ministry and the BJP.
The Special Cell of Delhi Police has registered an FIR in the case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and relevant provisions of the IT Act. The complaint alleges that the video is being circulated on social media “with the intention of creating discontent among the communities which is likely to affect public peace and public order”.
