Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer film Stree 2 has earned 600 crores at the domestic box office. With this, it has become the first Hindi film to cross this figure.
Film critic Taran Adarsh posted a post on his X handle (formerly Twitter) on Monday morning. In the post, he wrote – Stree 2 has become the first Hindi film to achieve this milestone. From metro to non-metro, multiplex to single screen and urban center to mass market, Stree 2 is a winner.
The film Stree 2 was released in theatres on 14 August this year. The film featured actors like Rajkumar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee. Varun Dhawan and Tamannaah Bhatia did cameo in the film. The film was directed by Amar Kaushik.
The film is a part of Dinesh Vijan's horror-comedy universe, which also includes films like Stree, Bhediya, Munjya.
