Let us know what the critics' opinion is on films made on politics.

How much does Mumbai cinema understand about political films?

Film critic Ajit Rai says- 'Not more than 2-3 good films have been made in the last hundred years. The misfortune of political films is that in our Hindi cinema a sub inspector beats up the Chief Minister. People who do not understand politics make a film like 'Inquilab' with Amitabh Bachchan, who destroys the entire assembly with bullets. In a film like Shool, Manoj Bajpayee goes to Vidhan Bhavan and kills the MLA. This does not happen in real life and you cannot even imagine.

No political party can benefit from the film

Film critic Ajit Rai says, 'I don't think any political party has enough time to make a film for itself. For them, cinema is just a means of dancing and singing and merely gathering crowds. It would be foolish to even think that a film can get someone to vote.

How much understanding of politics do those making films on political issues actually have?

Film critic Taran Adarsh says, 'As far as I understand, there is some information. A film cannot be made without research, but only he can answer to what extent the research is true and to what extent it is false.

What is the attitude of the audience towards such films after the controversy?

On the controversies of films, film critic Taran Adarsh says, 'One thing is certain that when there is controversy, that film comes into the headlines. It becomes curious to see whether this actually happened or not?

How much understanding do the officials sitting in the Censor Board have about such films?

Taran Adarsh says, 'There is a very important panel to watch any film. The censor committee that sits there is also called the examining committee and revising committee. The names of the members who have seen the film are mentioned in the censor certificate. Apart from this, the signature of the regional officer is also there on the certificate. He has complete information related to the film.

What role do propaganda films play?

Taran Adarsh says, 'It is true that many films come under propaganda. I would like to say that people are very smart. After seeing the poster, teaser and trailer, people make up their mind whether they want to watch that film or not, but the film gets such good reports that they go to watch the film.
