Started acting at the age of 2
Born on 8 April 1982, Allu debuted as a child artist at the age of just 2 years. His first film was Chiranjeevi starrer 'Vijeta' released in 1985. After this, he was also seen as a child artist in Kamal Haasan starrer 'Swati Muthyam'.
After this, in the year 2003, Allu debuted as a lead actor with the film 'Gangotri'. This film could not perform well at the box office, but for this Allu won the Nandi Award for Best Debut Actor.

Sukumar got support, 'Arya' became superstar
Allu Arjun became a superstar with the second film of his career, 'Arya', which was released on 7 May 2004. This film was directed by Sukumar. Made for Rs 4 crore, this film earned Rs 30 crore worldwide.
This film made Allu Arjun the stylish superstar Allu Arjun. This was also Sukumar's first film as a director and writer.
Sukumar received the Filmfare South Award for Best Director for this film, while Allu won the Nandi Award in the Special Jury category.
In 2011, this film was dubbed in Hindi and released with the name 'Arya Ki Prem Pratigya'. From here Allu made his mark among the audience of Hindi belt. The special thing is that before Allu, this film was also offered to Ravi Teja, Nitin and Prabhas.

'Arya-2' released after 5 years, Allu becomes success guarantee for Sukumar

Allu-Sukumar pair created history with 'Pushpa: The Rise'
In the year 2019, Sukumar had announced that he was going to work on a film with Allu after 10 years. The name of this film was 'Pushpa: The Rise'. Its shooting started in October 2019 and it took two years to shoot despite the impact of Covid 19.
When 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' was released in January 2020, Allu was shooting for 'Pushpa: The Rise'. Allu was also found Covid positive during the shooting of this film. Received National Award for the film
Allu Arjun won the National Award for Best Actor for 'Pushpa: The Rise'. He is the first actor in the history of Telugu cinema to be awarded the National Award. Apart from this, Allu also won the Filmfare South and South Indian International Movie Award (SIIMA) for the film.

First Indian actor to collaborate with Instagram
After the release of the film, social media platform Instagram also collaborated with Allu Arjun. Under this collab, Instagram had shared a video of Allu Arjun on its official handle in which the actor shared his daily routine. Allu Arjun is the first and only actor in the country with whom Instagram has collaborated.
Wax statue installed in 'Madame Tussaud'
Allu's wax statue was installed at Madame Tussauds Museum Dubai in March 2024. In this statue, Allu is seen standing in the signature step of 'Pushpa'. This statue was unveiled by Allu himself.

As of January 14, 2022, Allu Arjun had 15 million followers on Instagram. By March this year, the actor had 25 million followers. Along with this, he is the Telugu actor with the highest Instagram fan following. After Allu, the names of actors like Ram Charan (22.8 million), Vijay Deverakonda (21.5 million), Mahesh Babu (13.3 million) and Prabhas (11.9 million) are included in this list.
Demanded Rs 125 crore for 'Pushpa- The Rule'
Allu once used to charge Rs 18 to 20 crores for a film. According to a report in 'The Siasat Daily', the actor had taken a fee of Rs 50 crore for 'Pushpa: The Rise'. After its success, Allu has demanded a fee of Rs 90 to 125 crore from the makers for 'Pushpa: The Rule'.

Allu will earn Rs 330 crore from 'Pushpa-2'
According to another report of 'The Siasat Daily', Allu is taking 33% of the total revenue from pre-sales including theatrical, OTT, satellite, dubbing and audio rights of 'Pushpa 2'. If this happens then Allu can earn approximately Rs 330 crore from this film.
This will be a record in the industry. Earlier, superstar Rajinikanth had charged Rs 210 crore for the film 'Jailor'. Apart from this, Prabhas, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan charge Rs 150 to 200 crores for films.

Love story was filmy, love happened at first site
Allu had a love marriage with Sneha Reddy in the year 2011. Both of them first met at a wedding. Allu fell in love with Sneha as soon as he saw her. Searched for Sneha's number, both became friends and after some time started dating each other.
When Sneha's father, businessman Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy, came to know about this relationship, he rejected Allu.
Despite this rejection from the family, Allu did not give up and kept convincing Sneha's family. In the end, Allu's father talked to Sneha's father and convinced him for this marriage. The couple today are parents of two children, son Ayaan and daughter Arha.
Allu and Sneha became parents of son Ayaan in 2014 and daughter Arha in 2016.
