Leaders Online Desk: Domestic benchmarks Sensex and Nifty opened on a bullish note on Friday. The Nifty touched a new high of 22,794. While the Sensex rose by more than 375 points to open at 75 thousand. Strong rally in Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserv shares supported the market.
On the Nifty, shares of Bajaj Finance rose 6 percent while Bajaj Finserv rose 4 percent. Shares of ONGC, Shriram Finance, NTPC are also bullish. Meanwhile, shares of Bharti Airtel, HDFC Life, Britannia are showing minor decline on Nifty.
Top gainers on Sensex are Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, NTPC, Tata Steel, ICICI Bank. While the shares of Bharti Airtel, LT, Tech Mahindra have fallen. BSE Midcap and Smallcap have increased.
Indian stock markets bounced amid positive cues from global markets. The Asia-Pacific market is also witnessing growth. South Korea's Kospi index rose 0.4 percent, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng added about 2 percent.
