In today's special session (Stock Market special session), Sensex reached the level of 74 thousand. Nifty crossed the 22,500 mark. The Sensex rose 88 points to close at 74,005. Nifty rose marginally by 35 points to settle at 22,502. Around 2,359 shares gained today. 998 shares fell. No change was seen in 130 shares.
All sectoral indices closed higher in today's special trading session. Capital goods, PSU and media remained at the forefront. Metal, PSU Bank, Pharma, Realty indices also traded bullishly.
