Leaders Online Desk: Sensex and Nifty in the Indian stock market closed higher for the third consecutive session on Tuesday (Dec. 14). Auto, metal and energy sectors were the top gainers in the market. Sensex gained 500 points in today's trading session. It then settled at 73,104, an increase of 328 points. While the Nifty rose by 113 points to close at 22,217.
During the Lok Sabha elections, there was a volatile situation in the stock market in the last few days. Overall, investorsWait And Watch' role was taken. But the market recovered from the decline in the last three sessions.
