Stock market buying session continues, Sensex closes at 73,738


Leader Online Desk: The buying session in the domestic stock market continued for the third consecutive day today (23rd) due to positive signals in the global markets. The market experienced a boom since morning; Finally at the close today, the market closed at the lows of the day due to pressure from metals and pharmaceuticals sectors. The Sensex rose 89 points to close at 73,738, while it had also touched a level of 74,059 intraday. The Nifty closed up 31 points at 22,368. Earlier on Monday (22nd), the Sensex had risen by 560 points to close at 73,648.

The Sensex was seen trading up 200.90 points or 0.27 per cent at 73,849.52 as the domestic stock market opened today (23rd). The Nifty was trading up 64.10 points, or 0.29 per cent, at 22,400.50. 1758 shares of the company rose in today's intraday trade. While 425 shares experienced decline. 84 shares remained as they were.
Stocks like Bharti Airtel, HCL Technologies, SBI Life Insurance, Dr Reddy's Labs and Wipro led the Nifty in today's trade. While Nestle India, Power Grid, Eicher Motors, M&M and Reliance Industries suffered heavy losses.

Top Gainer, Top Loser

Stocks such as Bharti Airtel, HCL Technologies, SBI Life Insurance, Dr Reddy's Labs and Wipro were major gainers in the Nifty. While Nestle India, Power Grid, Eicher Motors, M&M and Reliance Industries suffered heavy losses.
Bharti Airtel, Titan, NTPC, HCL Technologies and Tata Motors were the top gainers in the Nifty 50. While Hindalco, Nestle India, Power Grid, Britannia and Adani Enterprises were heavy losers in the Nifty 50 in early trade on April 23.

Vodafone-Idea shares rise more than 14 percent in one day

Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services fall 8 percent

The company said that the customer need not choose more than one pack instead choose the travel duration and can travel anywhere using a single pack.
