Sridevi wanted Janhvi and Khushi to get married – Boney Kapoor
Boney Kapoor said- Sridevi did not want daughters Khushi and Janhvi to become actors, she had imagined their marriage. She always thought that her daughters should get married and settle down. Whenever Sridevi went to a wedding, she used to talk about her daughters' marriage. Sridevi used to say that we will arrange Jhanvi's marriage like this also. Find a boy like this.
Boney told- When Sridevi was alive, she wanted her daughters to choose some other profession instead of acting. It never occurred to us that our daughters would become actresses in future. We felt that she would either become a doctor or choose some other profession. But one day Janhvi told her mother that she wanted to act, after that Janhvi's film 'Dhadak' started.
Janhvi Kapoor often gets emotional remembering her mother. Jhanvi has always been sad that her mother could not see her become an actress. 'Dhadak' was released on 20 July 2018 and Sridevi died on 24 February 2018.
