Special screening of 12th Fail held in Supreme Court: Chief Justice Chandrachud said – such films inspire people.

A special screening of Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankar's film '12th Fail' was organized in the Supreme Court on September 25. During this, Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud congratulated the film's director Vidhu Vinod Chopra and the entire team of the film.

Apart from CJI, Judges and more than 600 Supreme Court officials and their families, IPS Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS officer Shraddha also participated in this special screening of the film.

CJI DY Chandrachud said, 'We all look for inspiration in our lives, our society also moves forward on hope. We need stories that are based on real life. Those who have set an example for the society by facing every situation, hence it is important that such stories should be shown on a large scale.

DY Chandrachud said, 'I am confident that every member of our staff's family will motivate their sons, daughters and friends and also guide them to take the nation to new heights.'

Praising the film's producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the Chief Justice said, 'The way the real-life story has been shown on screen is commendable. Both Vikrant and Medha have done a fantastic job. He has lived his characters completely. There were moments in the film when my eyes were moist. This film gives a strong message of hope. On behalf of the entire staff and my colleagues in the Supreme Court, I would like to thank the team of '12th Fail' for spending the evening with us.

Director Vidhu Vinod Chopra said, 'It was one of the most beautiful evenings of my life, because I was sitting and watching the film with a person who understood everything I said in the film. Today I feel that if I have given five years of my life to this film, then it has been successful. I am grateful to all the respected judges and members of the Supreme Court who took out time to join us.

What is the story of the film- This film is based on writer Anurag Pathak's book '12th Fail'. The title of the film has also remained the same. The main essence of the film is that the loser is the one who did not fight. Although this film of Vidhu Vinod Chopra is inspired by the real life of IPS Manoj Kumar Sharma, it is the story of youth from every village and small town of the country.
