Soldier dies due to bullet injury in Ayodhya Ram temple









Leader Online Desk: A soldier of the Special Security Force deployed for security at the Ram temple in Ayodhya died suspiciously after being hit by a bullet. The incident took place at 5.25 am on Wednesday. The name of this jawan is Shatrughna Vishwakarma (age 25). He was posted near the VIP gate being constructed in front of the Koteshwar temple when the incident took place.

It is not yet clear how the bullet hit. As soon as the information was received, several senior police officers including the IG-SSP have reached the spot. Shatrughna Vishwakarma was stationed near the northern entrance of the temple. At 5.25 am, after the sound of gunshots, the jawans posted in the area immediately alerted and took position. When the security personnel reached the entrance, Shatrughan was lying on the ground. He was rushed to the city trauma center in an ambulance where doctors declared him brought dead.

A similar incident happened three months ago

Shatrughan had joined the Special Security Force (SSF) in 2019. Shatrughan, a resident of Kajpura village, was stationed in the Ram temple area. The Yogi Adityanath government had established the SSF 4 years ago for the security of temples. As soon as the news of Shatrughan's death is heard, his family members are in mourning. Meanwhile, three months ago, another jawan was shot in the Ram temple. It was said that the bullet was accidentally pulled while cleaning the gun.
