Actor Gurcharan Singh, who played the character of Sodhi in 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', has been missing for the last 5 days. On April 22, he had left for Mumbai from Delhi, after which no one had any news about him.
In this case, Gurucharan's father had lodged a missing complaint at Palam police station in Delhi on April 25 at 3 pm. Police have registered a case of kidnapping. Police have got a CCTV footage in which Gurcharan Singh is seen leaving.
The actor's phone was also working till 24th April, but now it is saying switched off. When the police got the transactions from his phone, they found many strange things.
Gurucharan's father Hargeet Singh said, 'The SHO has called him and assured that he will find my son soon. I hope Gurcharan is fine and happy. Wherever he is at this moment, may God bless him.
On April 22, on his father's birthday, Gurucharan shared a video on his media account.
Waited at the airport for two hours but he did not come.
During an exclusive conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, on the condition of anonymity, Gurcharan Singh's family friend threw light on the entire matter.
He told- 'Gurucharan had left for Mumbai from Delhi on 22 April. He was not well for some days. That day he sent me a message at 9:30 in the night in which it was written – 'Start soon'.
His flight was at 9.30 and he was scheduled to land at Mumbai airport at 11.40. I reached the airport by 11.25 to pick him up.
The parking line is very long. That's why I thought that when he called, I would go to the parking lot and pick him up. Waited for him there for two hours but he did not come.

One number switched off, the ring continued on the other
The family friend further said- 'Gurucharan has two mobile numbers, one of which was switched off, while the other number was ringing continuously.
I waited for a long time but then left for my home at 1 o'clock in the night. I called his father and informed him.
I thought that perhaps he might not have boarded the flight or might have missed his flight. But his father told that he had left home for the airport.
After this, I called on his second phone number for 2 days but no one received the call.
Gurucharan's health had deteriorated in August last year also. He was admitted in the hospital for 10 days.
Had not eaten anything for 4 days due to stomach ache
After this, Gurucharan's family friend also went to his Mumbai house on the request of his father but it was locked. His mother also told that Gurucharan had left the house but his health was very bad.
He was very weak. He had severe stomach pain due to which he did not eat anything for 4 days.
PNR shows that flight was booked but probably not boarded.
Gurucharan's friend further said- 'The next day I reached a Guruji's ashram in Royal Palm, Mumbai to pray for Gurucharan. Seeing me crying there, a servant asked me about Gurucharan. When I told him the whole thing, he got the details of the flight.
All we knew was that he was boarding a 9:30 am flight from Delhi to Mumbai. On the basis of this information, Sevagar found out that it was a Vistara flight. When we got the PNR of the flight, we found out that he had booked the ticket but probably did not board.

On this matter, actor Mandar Chandwadkar, who plays the character of Bhide in the show, said – 'I was shocked to hear this news. Hope he is safe wherever he is. He is a very good person so I don't think anything bad will happen to him.
Let us tell you that Gurcharan had made himself a household name by playing the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi in 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'. However, he left the show some time ago. Along with the show, he also said goodbye to the industry.
