Singer Jasleen Royal has filed a case in the Bombay High Court, in which she has accused T-Series, lyricist Raj Ranjodh and singer Guru Randhawa of using her song without permission. This case is related to the song 'All Right', which is a part of the 'Zee Thing' album. Jasleen says that this song was released without her consent and her original music has been used in it.
didn't make any money from it
In an exclusive conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Guru Randhawa said, 'Jasleen's case is actually the case of our brother Raj Ranjodh, who gave me a song which he had already done with Jasleen. Usually I write and compose songs myself, but I liked this song and that's why I took it from him.'
Jasleen is a talented artist
Guru further said that the song was sung and it has been removed without any profit. Describing Jasleen as a talented artist, he said that the credit for writing and composing the song goes to Raj Ranjodh and there should be no misunderstanding in this matter. 'When we released the song, I came to know that Raj bhai should have included Jasleen in this song or should have asked her. When I came to know that it was associated with Jasleen, then we removed the song from online. It was removed within two days. I just sang the song, did not earn any money from it. Jasleen can release that song even today. Jasleen is a very good artist. I like her work very much. I would just like to tell her that she should not have any misunderstanding in her heart for me. Because that song was written and composed by Raj.'
what is the whole matter
According to Jasleen Royal, she had composed some original music for the promotional event of Ajay Devgan's film 'Runway 34' in 2022. She shared this music with lyricist Raj Ranjodh through audio-video calls and messages. Later, a song was released from this composition, which features the voice of Guru Randhawa and is produced by T-Series. For this reason, the names of T-Series, Raj Ranjodh and Guru Randhawa have come up in this controversy.
According to Jasleen, in December 2023, she came to know that T-Series has released a song named 'All Right', which has the voice of Guru Randhawa and the lyricist is Raj Ranjodh. Jasleen says that the music of this song is the same which she had shared with Raj. She hoped that she would get credit for this song, but that did not happen.
