The series Mirzapur 3 has been streamed on Amazon Prime Video on 5 July. The series is being discussed everywhere. But the audience is liking the character of Golu the most. This character is played by Shweta Tripathi.

After the release of the series, Shweta has talked to Dainik Bhaskar.

Shweta told that before coming into acting, she was a journalist. After this, she also did voice over and casting work. Then Shweta came into the acting field.

Let's begin the conversation with Shweta Tripathi…

Question- How has life become after Mirzapur?
answer-
Now I have become famous in every household. Wherever I go, people call me Golu Didi, Golu Don. It feels very good to see all this. Hearing such nicknames makes one feel a sense of belonging.

Question: Tell me a funny incident of a fan?
answer-
The most fun comes at the airport. When during ID checking the officers say- hey you are Gaja Gamini. It is a pleasure to see that from politicians to officers of the rank are also watching this series.

We have a friend. Her 62-year-old mother is a principal. She had not seen the previous two seasons of the series. The third season was about to come, so she started watching the previous two seasons with her daughter. After watching the series, she said – it is a little dirty, but very good.

It is a great pleasure to see that through this series we are able to entertain people from the age of 18 to 62 years.

We accept that the series has abusive language and bloody scenes, but all these things are very important for storytelling. The society we live in also has evils and pain, so we should not shy away from showing these in cinema.

Q: When did you get bitten by the acting bug?
answer-
I never thought of becoming an actor. My father is an IAS officer and my mother is a teacher. Because of this, I had no connection with cinema. But one thing is true that if you get bitten by the acting bug, then no matter what other profession you choose, you will not find peace without acting.

I consider myself lucky that I am working in the same profession in which I always wanted to work. I cannot even imagine my life without acting. I am happy that being an actor, I get so much love from people and I also earn a lot.

Question: What was your parents' reaction when they came to know that you want to become an actor?
answer-
I started my career as a voice over artist. First of all, I dubbed for 3-4 characters of a film Bird Island. After this, I became a part of the TV drama 'Kya Mast Hai Life'. When my parents saw me for the first time in this show, they were shocked. They said – well, you will be seen on TV too.

Earlier they had assumed that I would work as a voice over artist in some projects as a hobby. It took some time for my parents to accept that I am a full time actor. They were also right in their place. Earlier they had seen me working as a journalist, photo editor and casting director. In such a situation, it was a bit difficult for them to see me as a part time actor.

When my parents saw me in the film Masaan, they accepted that I am a full time actor.

Question- How did you get associated with acting?
answer-
I completed my NIFT course while living in Delhi. After this, I came to Mumbai for internship. During my 4-month internship, I got a job as a journalist. After this, I also did the work of trailer cutting. Then I did casting work. While doing this work, I started getting film offers.
