Tamil actress Shrutika Arjun has joined 'Bigg Boss 18' as a contestant. Before leaving for the show, Shrutika spoke to Dainik Bhaskar. He also shared his excitement and a little nervousness about his new journey. Shrutika said in the conversation that it remains to be seen how tolerant she will be inside the house. She also told about relationships that she will focus on friendship rather than special relationships. Read some key excerpts from the conversation:
How many are ready for 'Bigg Boss'?
I am both nervous and excited. There is a little sadness too, because I am leaving my family for the first time. But this is a new experience, and we are also looking forward to seeing Salman sir. Really, it's all mixed emotions.
Have you watched the previous seasons of 'Bigg Boss'?
I have only watched 'Bigg Boss' in Tamil, never followed any season in Hindi. My mother used to watch and tell me. Watching reels on Instagram reminds me of mom's words, but apart from this I don't know much about Hindi 'Bigg Boss'.
Are you making any plans before going to the show?
No, I have not made any plans. I know, if I think ahead, everything will go wrong. I have to show myself in Bigg Boss, so I am going without any plan. If I make a plan, someone else will spoil it.
What do you think will be the biggest challenge in 'Bigg Boss 18'?
I believe that will be the real test of our tolerance. The makers will also test our tolerance. In such a situation, sometimes I will not be able to control myself. There will come a time when everything will come together and I will get angry over something else. But I would not like to let myself fall apart.
What is your opinion about building relationships inside the house? Would you rather focus on making friends or on sports?
Look, I have come to be a part of this show. My focus will be on winning. I know that whatever I do at home will change outside. So I am not looking for any special relationship there, but I will definitely try to make a lot of friends. I have groups of friends from school and college, and I also made friends in the shows I worked on. I make friends everywhere, but deep relationships don't develop. Building relationships for the camera is useless.
What are the things that scare you most and how do you intend to deal with them?
I'm afraid that if I have a good friend, I would never want to disappoint him. It's not just a game; I will always be there for him emotionally. If that friend betrays me, I will feel very bad. We are both in competition, and I will feel like winning. I will try not to talk about me to anyone else if she makes a mistake, because I will not be able to bear it. If I don't make friends, I'll take it easy and laugh at myself. But I will not tolerate this happening in friendship. I make friends quickly, trust quickly, and get emotionally attached.
If a conflict or conflict arises, will you avoid or confront the conflict?
I will definitely face it. Why would I survive? I am not going to escape and will not let anyone escape. If I am involved in that situation or my best friend is involved in it, then I will definitely go. Even if I am not in that situation myself, I will go there and face the situation.
