If someone had asked me, I would have said, no, my father is Dr. Ramachandran, which was the name of our dentist. My name is Pooja Ramachandran. I chose this name myself.

My sister and I were raised by very stubborn people, and it became our habit. When my parents separated, I moved to Mumbai. I never liked living here as Shruti.
