The channel has decided to telecast the first episode in mid-December. About 60 episodes will be made in this season. These episodes will be telecast twice every week on weekends, on Saturday and Sunday.
During the shooting, the team will film in specific locations, parks and markets of Mumbai. This time there will be new characters, new story and interesting twists in the show. The makers want to give double the entertainment to the audience.

In the story of the new season, Abhijeet (Aditya Srivastava) and Daya (Dayanand Shetty), who were earlier good friends, have now become staunch enemies of each other. According to the new promo, the bond between them, which was once unbreakable, has now been broken. The foundation of CID has been shaken. The world of ACP Pradyuman (Shivaji Satam) is also about to change completely.

C.I.D started in 1998 on Sony TV and the show ran continuously till 2018. The show not only won the hearts of the audience but also got the status of a cult serial. Characters like ACP Pradyuman and Daya are popular among people even today.
