After the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui, now comedian Munawar Faruqui is on the target of gangster Lawrence. Mumbai Crime Branch recently revealed that Munawwar's name is included in the gangster's hit list.
According to media reports, apart from being special to Salman Khan, Munawwar is the target of Lawrence due to his controversial statements regarding religion.
It is heard that after increasing the security of Salman, Mumbai Police is also going to provide security to comedian Munawar Faruqui.

Receipt of hotel was done in Delhi Earlier in September, an attempt to attack Munawwar was foiled. When the comedian had gone to Delhi for a friendly match, a recce of his hotel was conducted. On September 15, he received a death threat, after which he hurriedly returned to Mumbai to save his life.
Two shooters of Lawrence gang were with him in the flight According to a report in Times Now, it was Lawrence Gang who did the recce of Munawwar. Two shooters of the gang were also present in the flight in which he came to Delhi.
The police were already searching for those shooters in connection with the murder of a Delhi businessman.
The friendship between Baba Siddiqui and Salman was years old. Salman used to attend his Iftar party every year.
Security of Salman's house and farm house was also increased. Earlier, Lawrence Gang had also taken responsibility for firing outside Salman Khan's house on April 14. Now after the murder of Baba Siddiqui, Mumbai Police has increased the security of Salman Khan. An additional police team has been deployed at his Bandra home. Agencies have been alerted to keep an eye on any kind of input, so that timely action can be taken.
Security has also been tightened at Salman's farm house in Panvel, Navi Mumbai. There is only one road to reach this farm house which passes through the village. If you see any suspicious person here, you have been asked to inform the police.
