Doing a reality show isn't easy

In an interview to Dainik Bhaskar, Shilpa says, 'Some time ago, I was a part of the reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'. At that time also I went back to the pavilion i.e. I left the show midway. People said many wrong things. But the team members of the show know the truth. I was really ill. Doing a reality show is not easy. People think that actors or contestants earn a lot of money in just 2-3 months. There is a lot of money, fame and glamour in this field but there is also a lot of stress.

During 'Jhalak', I used to rehearse and give my best performance. But at the last moment, the makers used to make many changes. Sometimes in the costumes and sometimes in the choreography. My entire energy used to go into it. Even the choreographers did not cooperate. That is why I left the show midway.

Shilpa Shinde won the 11th season of Salman Khan hosted reality show 'Bigg Boss'.

I will not leave KKK 14 midway

The actress further said, 'The team of Khatron Ke Khiladi has already discussed the stunts with all of us. I just have to go to the set and perform those stunts. The good thing is that I do not have a partner in this, like I had in 'Jhalak'. Here I will be judged only for my performance. I will not leave this show midway. Here I will chase away others. This time I will not let anyone get disappointed.'

In 'Bigg Boss 11', a heated argument was seen between Vikas Gupta and Shilpa Shinde.

People think I just fight

According to the actress, she has been tagged as a 'quarrel' in real life. But she is not like that. She said, 'People think that I only fight. I am quarrelsome. But the truth is that I am not like that at all. People saw my real personality in 'Bigg Boss'. They came to know that my nature changes according to the situation. Now I do yoga. Regular yoga has brought changes in me. Now I have started thinking that whatever happens happens for good.'

Shilpa Shinde got recognition in every household through the show 'Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain'.

The producer does not have money for the artist

After 'Bhabhiji…', Shilpa had quit daily soaps. Explaining the reason for this, the actress says, 'Actually, Covid is not over yet for TV producers. Whenever a producer calls me, the first thing he says is that there is a show but the budget is very low. I refuse them after hearing this. It is not that I always work for money. But every time you cannot give the excuse of low budget.'

Producers erect sets anywhere to save their money

He further said, 'Competition in TV has increased a lot. Nowadays, artists who do not have work are mostly signed for TV shows. During the show, they have to face a lot of stress. Producers erect sets anywhere to save their money. They expect artists to work every day.

They will spend crores of rupees on the set, but they do not pay the hard working artists. Therefore, it is not fun to work in such an environment.
