Recently, the 24th IIFA 2024 Awards held in Abu Dhabi was hosted by Shahrukh Khan. Here he co-hosted the show with Vicky Kaushal.
During the event, when Vicky Kaushal asked Shahrukh whether, like many films, if 'Lal Singh Chaddha' had been offered to him earlier, would he have done it?
This year IIFA was hosted together by Shahrukh and Vicky.
Later he said- 'I love you Aamir' In response to this, Shahrukh said, 'What about me? Even Aamir should not have done this film. Everyone present there including Vicky was shocked to hear this reply of Shahrukh. However, later Shahrukh took it as a joke and also called Aamir 'love you'.
Shahrukh was awarded the Best Actor Award for 'Jawaan' at the event.
'I can't match Allu's swag' After this, when Vicky asked Shahrukh that if he had been offered 'Pushpa: The Rise', would he have done it? In response to this, Shahrukh said, 'Oh my God, man… you said something which still hurts. I really wanted to do 'Pushpa' but I couldn't match the swag of Allu Arjun sir.
'Pushpa' was released worldwide in 5 languages.
'Lal Singh Chaddha' was a remake of 'Forest Gump' Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer 'Lal Singh Chaddha', released in 2022, failed miserably at the box office. This film was directed by Advait Chandan. This was the official remake of the Hollywood film 'Forest Gump'.
