Shahrukh Khan's iconic serial Fauji is now going to return to TV after 35 years. Filmmaker Sandeep Singh has announced Fauji 2 in collaboration with Doordarshan. The show will be based on the challenges, struggles and friendship of army people. In this, new artists will be shown in important roles.
Filmmaker Sandeep Singh said, 'We are bringing back one of the best shows on TV in a new and fun way. 1989's 'Fauji' gave us an actor like Shahrukh Khan. Shahrukh became the king of Bollywood in no time. Now with 'Fauji 2', I want to create history again and connect with every Indian, especially the youth.

Ankita Lokhande's husband Vicky Jain will make his acting debut in 'Fauji 2'. Vicky will be seen in the role of Colonel Sanjay Singh in this show. Gauhar Khan will play the role of Lieutenant Colonel Simarjeet Kaur, a cadet trainer with expertise in weapon handling.

'Fauji 2' is being produced by Sandeep Singh, Vicky Jain, Zafar Mehndi and Sameer Halim. Whereas Abhinav Pareek will direct it. Nishant Chandrashekhar will also accompany him.
