On October 15, filmmaker Sandeep Singh had announced Fauji 2 in collaboration with Doordarshan. This time, apart from Ankita Lokhande's husband Vicky Jain, Gauhar Khan, 12 new faces will be seen in the show. Meanwhile, according to a media report, in 2009, Shahrukh Khan started making Fauji 2 with Pulkit Samrat and Rupal Tyagi under his banner. However, the show never went on air.
While talking to India Today, Pulkit Samrat said, 'It was very special to meet Shahrukh Khan. Just imagine, I came to Mumbai from Delhi following his footsteps. Then I got a chance to work in their banner Red Chillies Entertainment's show Fauji 2. In this I played the role of Shahrukh Khan's son. It is a big thing for me that I got a chance to work with him. The only sad thing is that this show never went on air.
Pulkit Samrat said, 'Shahrukh Khan is a very humble person. He taught me a lot during the shooting. He explained how to work on the sets. How the actors use every space on the set. Not only this, he also told me some secrets of his work.
Rupal Tyagi also shared the story of meeting Shahrukh Khan. The actress said, 'I got the lead role in Shahrukh Khan's Fauji 2. He always used to motivate people on the set. Knew about everyone's role. He kissed everyone's forehead and said, 'I hope that what Fauji 1 did for me, Fauji 2 does the same for you all.'
Shahrukh Khan made his debut with Fauji Let us tell you, in the year 1989, the Fauji serial came, in which Shahrukh Khan played the role of a junior soldier named Abhimanyu Rai. Because of this serial, he became famous by becoming a soldier in every household.
