Shahrukh Khan has recently revealed that he has 300 awards. He has also built a room in his house where he keeps these awards.
Shahrukh also said that he has no shame in accepting awards. He loves receiving love from the audience.
Shahrukh has 300 awards
During an interview with The Guardian, Shah Rukh was asked if he has a special place to keep his awards in his house. In response, the actor said- I have a room bigger than this room. I have 300 awards. I have a 9-storey office and some awards are kept on every floor.
Actually, this is not a trophy room. This is a library, which is designed like an English library.
'I am shameless when it comes to accepting awards'
When Shahrukh was further asked if he likes receiving awards, the actor said- I enjoy it. I am very shameless in this matter. I like getting awards. I like the ceremony very much. If I have to give a speech, I get a little nervous.
Shahrukh further said that when he is present on the international stage to receive an award, he gets a little nervous. He also tries to control his sense of humor.
'I'm a bit greedy when it comes to awards'
This is not the first time that Shah Rukh has expressed his love for awards. Recently, Shah Rukh received the Best Actor award for Jawaan at the 2024 Dada Saheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards held in Mumbai. Here he said that he becomes a little greedy when it comes to getting awards.
The actor further said- I thank the jury who considered me worthy of the Best Actor Award. I was not given the actor's award for a long time. It seemed as if I would not get it again. So now I am very happy. I love receiving awards. I am a little greedy.
