These days Shahrukh Khan is busy preparing for his upcoming film King. Recently Shahrukh left his shooting in London and came to India to be a part of Anant-Radhika's wedding. Now there are reports that Abhishek Bachchan has also been cast in this film. Abhishek will play the role of a villain in the film.
According to a recent report by Peeping Moon, Abhishek Bachchan has signed the film. He is going to play a negative role in the film King, although no information has been received about what his actual character will be like. If sources are to be believed, he will be seen in the role of a sophisticated and complex villain. He and Shahrukh will be shown face to face in the film.

Before the film King, Abhishek Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan have appeared together in 2 films. Both were first seen together in the 2006 film Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. After this, both have also appeared together in the film Happy New Year. Abhishek Bachchan was also going to play a cameo role in the blockbuster film Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, however, he left the film due to creative differences. The film King may be released in 2026
Sujoy Ghosh, who has directed great films like Kahaani, Kahaani 2, Jaane Jaa, is going to direct the film King. This is going to be a crime thriller film, which will be made action-packed. The film will be ready by the end of 2025, after which it will be released in 2026.
Shahrukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan is going to make her big screen debut with this film. She made her acting debut with the Netflix film The Archies. The film is being produced by Red Chillies Production. This is going to be the second film of Abhishek Bachchan and Sujoy Ghosh. Earlier, Sujoy Ghosh had produced Abhishek Bachchan starrer film Bob Biswas.

Shahrukh Khan has been shooting for the film King in London for some time now. Shahrukh Khan came to Mumbai from London to attend Anant-Radhika's wedding on 12th July. After attending the Shubh Vivah and Ashirwad ceremony, Shahrukh Khan returned to London due to work commitments. He did not attend Anant-Radhika's reception.
