TV actress Krishna Mukherjee has accused 'Shubh Shagun' producer Kundan Singh of mental harassment, non-payment of money and threats. The actress says that she became a victim of depression because of the producer. Right now he is under a lot of stress.
In an interview given to Dainik Bhaskar, Krishna told how he was misbehaved on the sets. She was locked in the make-up room for hours. Let us tell you, this incident took place in 2022. The actress lodged a complaint against the producer, however till now she has not got justice.
I am suffering from depression and am under stress.
Krishna Mukherjee said, 'The shooting of the show started in March 2022. We shot continuously for 7 months. But, payment was received only for two months. Five months' payment is still pending. Till now around Rs 40 lakh of mine is with the producer. But, they are not paying it. I also lodged a complaint against him with the police. But, even after one and a half years, I did not get justice.
Last year, Kundan assured me that he would give the money. But this did not happen. They are continuously threatening my father to withdraw the case. We are being mentally harassed. Because of Kundan, I have become a victim of depression. I am under a lot of stress.
I was afraid that these people might break the door and do something wrong to me.
Regarding the misbehavior on the set, the actress said, 'They used to make us work for 13-14 hours in a 12-hour shift. One day I refused to shoot. I asked the production to pay me for the work done first. Only after this I will do extra work. Saying this I returned to my makeup room.
As soon as I went inside, some people locked my room from outside. I kept banging the door from inside but they did not open. He was saying this again and again – 'Wear the costume again, how will you not shoot?' Its vehicle will not go out of the set. I went to the washroom out of fear. There was a fear that these people might break the door and do something wrong to me. He had indulged in hooliganism.

He further said, 'After some time my co-actor Shehzada Dhami had a fight with him and opened the door. He supported me a lot. Actually, these people were behaving like this only on the instructions of Kundan. The producer had done similar things on the sets of 'Naagin' also. But that thing also never came to the fore.
Police is not taking action because of Smita Thackeray?
The actress said that because of the show Smita Thackeray (daughter-in-law of Bal Thackeray), the police is not taking any action. The Thackeray family has dominance in Mumbai. Let us tell you, 'Shubh Shagun' is produced by Smita Thackeray's production house (Rahul Media and Production). Kundan Singh was the co-producer of the show. Krishna has also mentioned Rahul Media and Production in his complaint.
On the other hand, Kundan Singh dismissed all the allegations of Krishna as fake on his social media page.

Krishna Mukherjee started his acting career in 2014 with the film 'Jhalli Anjali'. Krishna played the role of Sheena in this film. The actress played the role of Alia Raghav Bhalla in the TV serial 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' and Priya Rehan Singhania in 'Kuch To Hai – Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein'. The actress played the role of Shagun Shinde Jaiswal in Dangal Channel's serial 'Shubh Shagun'.
