Updates have come out on the sequel of Salman Khan's film 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' released in 2015 and Akshay Kumar's 'Rowdy Rathore' released in 2012. Producer KK Radhamohan has informed in an event that work on both these films will start soon. Their scripts have been completed.
Producer Radha Mohan talked about this during the promotional event of the film 'Ruslaan' held recently in Hyderabad. Radha Mohan told that the scripts of both these films have been written by Rajamouli's father Vijayendra Prasad.
Rowdy Rathore was the fourth highest-grossing Hindi film of 2012 with a worldwide collection of Rs 203 crore.
Work will be done on casting of 'Rowdy Rathore-2'
The producer said, 'Writer Vijayendra Prasad has written two stories for me. One is 'Vikramakudu-2', whose Hindi sequel will be made by the name of 'Rowdy Rathore-2'. Its story is ready and we will start work on its casting soon. Writer Vijayendra Prasad was also present with him on this occasion.
Makers will meet Salman soon
While talking about the sequel of 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', Radha Mohan said that he has read the script of the second part of this film and he will soon meet Salman and narrate its story to him.
'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' was the highest grossing film of 2015. It did a worldwide business of Rs 920 crore.
The title of the film will be 'Pawanputra Bhaijaan'
Earlier in 2021, at the promotional event of the film 'RRR', Salman had confirmed that a sequel of 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' is going to be made. In 2023, Bollywood Hungama had claimed in a report that Pooja Hegde will be seen in the lead role in this film. The title of the film will be 'Pawan Putra Bhaijaan'.
