Opposition to CAA by West Bengal, Kerala Govt

West Bengal and Kerala governments have opposed the CAA. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that she has just seen the rules, something will be said only after seeing the rules. However, he explained that we will not accept discrimination on the basis of religion, caste and language. According to the new law, the Modi government on Monday sealed the decision to grant Indian citizenship to the victimized and persecuted Hindus of Muslim-majority countries such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan, as well as religious minorities such as Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, and Christians from those countries.
