'Secretary ji' got 5.60 lakh fee for Panchayat?: Became the highest paid actor of the third season; Jitendra Kumar said- 'It is wrong to discuss anyone's salary'

Season three of the web series 'Panchayat' is in the news these days. Meanwhile, there are reports that Jitendra Kumar, who plays the character of Secretary Ji i.e. Abhishek Tripathi in the series, is the highest paid actor of this season.

Media reports are claiming that he got Rs 70,000 for working in one episode. According to this, he has been paid around Rs 5.60 lakh for the series of eight episodes.

Reports also state that Neena Gupta is the second highest paid actor in the series who is paid Rs 50,000 per episode.

Jitendra expressed his displeasure

Reacting to the reports about his fees, Jitendra said, 'I think it is wrong to discuss someone's salary or financial matters. Nothing is achieved by this discussion. People should not pay attention to such rumours.'

Jitendra made his debut in 2014

Jitendra started his film career in 2014 with 'Shuruat Ka Interval'. Then his film 'Gone Kesh' was released. Jitendra got his biggest break from the movie 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan'. Then after some time he was offered the role of Secretary Abhishek Tripathi in the web series 'Panchayat'. He said yes to this role and his luck changed.

Jitendra has studied engineering from IIT Kharagpur

Some time ago, in an interview, Jitendra had said a few things about joining the acting field. He had said that his family wanted him to become an engineer, so he was sent to Kota for preparation. Where he enrolled in coaching for IIT. After passing the IIT exam, he completed his engineering studies from IIT Kharagpur. During his studies, he realized that he could make a career in the field of acting.

Actually, Jitendra was fond of mimicry since childhood. During his college days, his friends asked him to audition for theatre. Jitendra gave the audition and won people's hearts with his acting. From here onwards, he decided that he would become an actor. He auditioned for the web series 'Kota Factory' and got selected. Before becoming popular in the role of Secretary Ji, Jitendra was also well liked in the role of Jeetu Bhaiya in Kota Factory.
