Leaders Online Desk: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh was released from Tihar Jail on Wednesday (April 3). After coming out of jail after six months, he raised his hands and greeted the workers. This time he said, this is not the time to celebrate. This is a time of struggle. He warned that all the leaders will be released by breaking the lock of the jail.
Earlier on Tuesday (April 2), the Supreme Court had granted him bail in the Delhi Excise Policy case. Sanjay Singh was released from Tihar Jail after completing all the legal procedures as per the orders of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court had said that the bail conditions would be decided by the lower court.
The trial court on Wednesday directed Sanjay Singh to surrender his passport, inform about his itinerary before leaving the National Capital Region (NCR) and keep his phone 'location' on at all times. The court directed Sanjay Singh to furnish a personal bond of Rs 2 lakh and a security deposit of the same amount.
