Leaders Online Desk: Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam has been expelled from the party. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has said that he has sanctioned the expulsion of Sanjay Nirupam following complaints of indiscipline and anti-party remarks. Sanjay has been shown the door by the party for six years. It has also been said that this order will be implemented immediately.
Maharashtra Congress senior leader Sanjay Nirupam has been shown the way out by the party. Congress president has expelled Nirupam from the party for six years. He is accused of indulging in anti-party activities. He had been making anti-party statements continuously for the past several days.
Maharashtra Congress president Nana Patole had earlier said that the Congress had removed Nirupam's name from the list of star campaigners. Apart from this, Nirupam had also said that disciplinary action had been initiated against him for his remarks against the party and state unit leadership.
