Salman would like to play triple role in the remake of 'Sholay': Apart from this film, the actor also expressed his desire to remake 'Deewar'

Salman Khan has recently expressed his desire to make remakes of 'Sholay' and 'Deewar' during an interview. During a conversation with Farah Khan, Salman Khan said that he wants to play a triple role in the film 'Sholay'.

Farah Khan asked Salman Khan that if he had to remake any of Salim-Javed's films, which film would he make? On this, Salman Khan took the names of Amitabh Bachchan's films 'Sholay' and 'Deewar'. When Farah Khan asked him which character he would like to play, Jai or Veeru? Salman Khan quipped saying – I can play the character of Jai-Veeru and Gabbar as well.

Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra's film 'Sholay' was released in the year 1975. This film was directed by Ramesh Sippy. Yash Chopra's film 'Deewar' was also released in 1975. Amitabh Bachchan and Shashi Kapoor played lead roles in this film. Both the films were written by Salim-Javed.
