'Missing Ladies' said to be Kiran's debut film
However, Salman made a mistake in his tweet. He described 'Laapta Ladies' as Kiran's debut film. After this tweet by Salman, many users corrected him and said that Kiran had made her Bollywood debut in the year 2011 with the film 'Dhobi Ghat'. Kiran has made a comeback as a director after 13 years with 'Laapta Ladies'.
Many social media users gave their reaction by correcting Salman's tweet.
Aamir was the lead actor in 'Dhabi Ghat'
The film 'Laapta Ladies' has earned Rs 9 crore 83 lakh at the box office in 13 days. This is Kiran's second film as a director. Before this, she had made 'Dhobi Ghat' in 2011. Aamir Khan played the lead role in it. Apart from this, Kiran has been associated as a producer with films like 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na', 'Peepli Live', 'Delhi Belly' and 'Dangal'.
Aamir was initially going to play Ravi Kishan's role in 'Laapta Ladies'.
Aamir was also going to work in 'Missing Ladies'
Actors like Nitanshi Goyal, Pratibha Ranta and Sparsh Srivastava have been seen in lead roles in the film 'Laapta Ladies', which was released in theaters on March 1. Famous Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan has played an important role of a police officer in it.
However, Aamir Khan was initially supposed to play this role in the film. Kiran had also taken his audition for this but later Kiran felt that Ravi looked better in this role and she cast Ravi.
