Leader Online Desk: The sixth suspect in the Salman Khan residence shooting case has been arrested. His name is Harpal Singh. He was arrested by the Mumbai Police from Fatehabad in Haryana. The information in this context has been given by the Mumbai Crime Branch. This has been reported by ANI.

Harpal Singh's name came up during the interrogation of the suspects

The ANI report further stated that Harpal Singh (37), the sixth accused in the Salman Khan residence case, was arrested by the Mumbai Crime Branch from Fatehabad in Haryana. Investigation has revealed that the accused Harpal Singh provided financial assistance to the fifth accused Mohammad Rafiq Chaudhary who was arrested in this case. (Salman Khan) The Mumbai Crime Branch has also informed that the accused in this case will be produced in the special Mokka court today (14th).

Paid Rs 2-3 lakh for a tour outside the residence

Harpal Singh's name came up during the interrogation of another member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Mohammad Rafiq Chaudhary, who was arrested in the firing case, the official said. Harpal Singh had asked Rafiq Chaudhary to take a tour around Salman Khan's residence and had also paid him Rs 2-3 lakh, police said in a media release.

One suspect died in custody

On April 14, two men on a motorcycle opened fire outside Salman Khan's residence at Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai's Bandra area and fled the scene. So far Mumbai Crime Branch has detained six suspected accused in this case. One of the cases ended his life while in custody.
