The bail plea of Vicky Gupta, one of the attackers who opened fire outside Salman Khan's house, has been rejected. The special court hearing cases under the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA) has refused to grant bail to Vicky. The court said that if the accused is released, he may commit such an incident again in future. The court says that the intention of the accused was to murder Salman.

The accused said- I was riding the bike, I had no intention of causing harm. The court had rejected the bail plea of Vicky Gupta on Thursday, October 17 itself. Its copy has been released today. Vicky said in his defence, 'I was just riding a motorcycle, the shooter was sitting behind me. I had no intention of harming Salman. Vicky said that he is just a victim of circumstances, it is not right to keep him in continuous custody.

Court agreed – the accused opened fire at the same place where Salman often greets fans. While reading the order, Justice BD Shelke mentioned the FIR lodged by Salman Khan. It is clearly written in the FIR that the accused opened fire on the balcony of Galaxy Apartment, where Salman often greets his fans. He also sits there every morning.

Justice Shelke said that if we look at Salman's FIR and the place where he was shot, it seems that both the accused had come with the intention of killing the actor.
