Salman Khan attended the trailer launch of Marathi film Dharamveer 2 on Saturday evening. Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde also attended this event. On stage, Eknath Shinde presented a shawl to Salman in his honour.
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was also present on this occasion.

Dharamveer 2 is a sequel to the 2022 film Dharamveer. The film is based on the life of Eknath Shinde's political guru and late Shiv Sena leader Anand Dighe. Glimpses of his life and political career will be seen in this film.
The film Dharamveer 2 is going to be released in theatres on 9th August this year. This year, the poster of the film was released by actor Bobby Deol and CM Eknath Shinde.
The first part of the film was also liked by the audience. Actors like Prasad Oak, Kshitish Date, Makarand Padhye, Snehal Tarde and Shruti Marathe were seen in the first part. The same actors are there in the second part as well. Just like the first part, the second part is also being directed by Praveen Tarde. He has also written the story of the film.
Let us tell you, Anand Dighe died in a hospital in Thane in August 2001. The cause of his death was said to be a heart attack.
