Director Nikhil Advani's film 'Veda' has been released in theatres. Recently Nikhil Advani, Sharvari Wagh and Abhishek Banerjee spoke to Dainik Bhaskar about this film. Nikhil Advani said that Salman is a saviour for me, but I cannot take the stress of box office numbers by working with him. Sharvari Wagh said that the action tips she got from John Abraham during the shooting of the film 'Veda' are being used in her next film 'Alpha'.

Nikhil Advani thought John would leave him after 'Satyamev Jayate 2'

Talking about the casting of the film 'Veda', director Nikhil Advani said- I cast the actors who want to do my film. I knew that I have to do a film with John. After 'Batla House', we were talking about what to do? Whenever I met John, he would ask only one thing, did you write anything? I got busy with 'Mumbai Diaries' and 'Rocket Boys'. John was doing 'Satyamev Jayate 2' at that time. I thought that after that film, John would leave me.

John Abraham blindly trusts Nikhil Advani's films

During the conversation, Nikhil Advani said, 'John blindly believes in my films. As for Sharvari, whoever I talked to about 'Veda', everyone would say to meet Sharvari. When I met her, I felt that she is the Veda of my film. What Abhishek Banerjee had said at the time of the trailer launch was wrong.' Actually, during the trailer launch of the film, seeing his character being praised, Abhishek had said – Nikhil sir had already given this character to some other actor, but I intervened and got this role.

People did not agree with the casting of Abhishek Banerjee

Nikhil Advani said- I wanted to cast Abhishek Banerjee for the role of Jitendra Pratap Singh from the very beginning. Before 'Veda', I had met him for some other film. Since then he was in my mind. When I was thinking of casting Abhishek in this film, people did not agree with my decision. But I was completely sure that Abhishek was perfect for the role of Jitendra.

Now Nikhil doesn't want to work with Salman Khan

Nikhil Advani has worked with big stars like Salman and Shahrukh Khan. But now he does not want to work with Salman Khan. Nikhil said- Salman Khan is my savior. But now I do not want to do a film with him. Because these people are now talking about box office returns of thousand crores.

Nikhil can't take the stress of box office numbers

During the conversation, Nikhil Advani said- I want to tell my stories in an interesting way, which has a message. I want to make a film which is in a limited budget. I do not want to take the tension of thousand crores. My daughter is studying in 12th. I want to live peacefully with my wife and daughter. I want to go to a restaurant with them. I want to sleep very comfortably. I cannot take the tension of box office numbers.

Sharvari told it was a learning experience

Sharvari is playing the title role in the film 'Veda'. During the conversation, she shared her experience of working with director Nikhil Advani. Sharvari said- It has been a very fun experience working with Nikhil sir. He used to give such inputs on the set that the entire scene would change. All this has been a learning experience for me. Whatever I have learned from this film will help me a lot in my career in the future.

John's action tips are working in 'Alpha'

Sharvari is working with both Alia Bhatt and her in the film 'Alpha'. She says, “The action tips I got from John Sir in Veda will come in handy in Alpha.” Talking about her experience of working with Alia Bhatt, Sharvari says, “She is my favorite actress. I have got a great opportunity to work with her.”

Sharvari is excited about 'Alpha'

Talking about the film 'Alpha', Sharvari said- This will be the first female lead YRF spy universe film. Earlier you have seen many big superstars in YRF spy universe. Now two female actresses are a part of it. This is a big example for today's generation. I am very excited about this film.
