He has been identified as Mohammad Tayyab (20). ACP Noida Praveen Kumar Singh said- The accused will be presented in Surajpur court. From there Mumbai Police will take him on transit remand.

Tayyab had sent a message to the Bandra office of Zeeshan Siddiqui, son of NCP leader Bab Siddiqui, on the evening of 25 October. In this, Salman Khan and Zeeshan were threatened with death if the ransom was not paid. An employee of Zeeshan had lodged an FIR with the police.

The accused was arrested from Jharkhand in the Salman threat case. Earlier, even six days after the murder of Baba Siddiqui (October 12), Salman had received death threats. According to Mumbai Police, it was written in the threatening message – Do not take this lightly. If Salman Khan wants to stay alive and end his enmity with Lawrence, he will have to pay Rs 5 crore. If the money is not given then Salman Khan's condition will be worse than that of Baba Siddiqui. Mumbai Police arrested him from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand on October 23.

  • June 2022: When Salman's father Salim Khan returned home from his morning walk, he received an unknown letter in which he and Salman were threatened with death. It was written in the letter – 'Salman Khan will make your condition like Moosewala.' After this, Salim Khan contacted the police with the help of his security personnel and a case was registered in this regard at Bandra police station.
