Saif had received threats for marrying Kareena: Said- I did not care about it, parents had also received threats

Saif Ali Khan had told that when he announced his marriage with Kareena Kapoor, he used to receive threats. It was said in the threats that both their families would be harmed. However, they ignored these threats and got married in a private ceremony in October 2012.

In an old interview of Radiff, Saif had said – Some people were not happy with our marriage. My father-in-law (Randhir Kapoor) had received some letters from anonymous people. In which it was claimed that they will harm our family and bomb that place.

The actor had told that he was unaware of all these things because when his parents Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore got married, the family had to face something similar. He had said- These things did not bother me. Making threats and implementing them are two different things.

Sharmila Tagore had also revealed the threatening matter

Some time ago, in an interview, Sharmila Tagore had told that when she was getting married to Mansoor Ali Khan, she had received threats. In a conversation with Mojo Story, he had said – When I was getting married in Kolkata, my parents were getting telegrams that bullets would be fired. Tiger's family was also a little worried. People were afraid that something might go wrong in the marriage.
