Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev discharged from hospital leader









Leader Online Desk: Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, spiritual guru and founder of Isha Foundation, was discharged from hospital today (March 27) after an emergency brain surgery. He was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Delhi on March 17.

Managing Director of Apollo Hospital Dr. Sangita Reddy said, “Doctors have expressed satisfaction over the recovery of Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev. Their commitment is global interest. His sharp mind and his sense of humor are all intact. I think this is good news for the millions of people who are inquiring about his health.”

The foundation has expressed its gratitude for the love and support received by Sadhguru from everyone. Dr. Vinit Suri, Dr. Pranav Kumar, Dr. Sudhir Tyagi and Dr. S. A team of doctors, including Chatterjee, performed surgery within hours of admission to stop the bleeding. After the surgery, Sadhguru was put on ventilator.

Apollo Hospital Neurologist Dr. Vinit Suri examined Sadhguru. An MRI was advised, where it was found that he had suffered massive bleeding in his brain. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar interacted with Sadhguru and wished him good health and speedy recovery.
