These people have contacted the Indian Ministry of External Affairs. Efforts are being made to bring them back. For this, India is also in discussion with the Russian authorities, said the spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, Randhir Jaiswal, in a press conference.

Randhir Jaiswal said that '20 Indian citizens are stuck in different parts of Russia. All of them were taken to Russia under the pretext of good jobs. These people were trained there for a while, but then they were deployed to the war front,' he explained.

India's stand on Russia-Ukraine war is clear. India has always discussed a solution to this problem. It is important that both sides come together to find a solution for peace. Jaiswal also said that India's role has remained the same since day one.

About the ex-marines who returned from Qatar, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said seven Indians have been released in the Dahra Global case, who have returned to India. Eighth Indian citizens have to fulfill certain conditions. After completion of that, this person will also return to India.
