Sharing four pictures on his Instagram account, Shreyas wrote, 'I want to clear everyone's mind that I am alive, happy and healthy. I came across a post claiming that I am dead.
I understand that jokes have their place, but when used wrongly it can really harm someone.
Although someone might have started this as a joke, it is now causing unnecessary trouble to those who care for me, especially my family members.

The actor further wrote, 'My younger daughter, who goes to school every day, is already worried about my health. She constantly asks me questions and wants to be sure about my health.
This false news has increased her fear even more. She has started asking more questions to her school teachers and friends.'
The actor said that this news has upset his daughter and his loved ones.
'Children are most affected by such news'
Shreyas told those who spread fake news, 'Those who are spreading the news about my death, I would like to tell them to stop now. Many people had prayed for my health. This humor hurts their feelings.
When you spread such false news, it affects someone's family the most and especially children. Innocent children are unable to understand this situation and become very emotional.
Request to trollers
Finally, requesting the trollers, Shreyas wrote, 'My simple request to you is please stop doing this. Do not joke like this with anyone.
