The accused of stealing from Anupam Kher's office have been caught. Some goods and cash were stolen from Anupam Kher's Veera Desai office in Mumbai two days ago. The total value of goods and cash was Rs 4.15 lakh.
Now Mumbai's Oshiwara police has caught two criminals named Majid Sheikh and Mohammad Daler Bahrim Khan. Police said that both of them are professional thieves. Both of them go out to steal in auto rickshaws. After stealing from Anupam Kher's office, both of them left in the same auto rickshaw. This was revealed through CCTV footage.
First know what happened two days ago
Anupam Kher shared a post on the theft incident and wrote- Last night, two thieves broke two doors of my office on Veera Desai Road. They stole the entire safe from the accounts department (which they probably couldn't break) and the negative (film reel) of a film produced by our company which was kept in a box.
Our office has filed an FIR and the police has assured that the thieves will be caught very soon. Because in the CCTV camera, both of them are seen sitting in the auto with the goods. May God give them wisdom.
The police caught the thieves within two days
Since the case was related to a celebrity, it started getting a lot of attention in no time. Mumbai police immediately swung into action and caught the thieves within two days. The police statement said- Majid Sheikh and Mohammad Daler Bahrim were arrested from Jogeshwari area of Mumbai. Both of them are professional thieves and commit thefts using auto rickshaws.
The thieves first broke the door.
Police registered serious sections against both the thieves
The police have registered a case against these two thieves under sections 454, 457 and 380 of the IPC. These three sections are related to theft and vandalism in the house. The police say that they have started a thorough investigation into the case.
On the day the theft took place, an FIR was filed by Anupam Kher's office.
