Recently, in an interview to Humans of Bombay, Riya has spoken about her jail experience, when I was in jail, the thing I realized was that everyone is going to die. People who are saying bad things about you are going to die, people who love you are going to die. I am going to die, my friends are going to die, so what difference does it make. Otherwise we would keep thinking what people are thinking about me, what are people thinking now, people are looking at me like this. I realized this in jail.
Further, on the reactions received from social media, Riya has said, I do not care. I post what I want to. I never closed my comment section even in 2020. I still get trolled somewhere. Some call me a witch, some say I do black magic, some call me a serpent. But it does not matter to me. Earlier it used to matter to me why these people do not like me.
