In the famous Renukaswami murder case of famous South actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and actress Pavitra Gowda, the police filed a charge sheet in the court on Wednesday.
It is said in this charge sheet that blood stains were found on Darshan's clothes and Pavitra's shoes. The police have presented the charge sheet with about 230 evidences including eyewitness statements. Darshan and Pavitra are already serving jail sentence in the case.
Darshan and his co-accused Pavitra have been in jail for the last 3 months in the Renukaswami murder case.

In the charge sheet, the police have also included a photograph taken from the crime scene in which Renukaswami is seen pleading with the accused.
According to media reports, before killing Renukaswami, Pavitra herself had beaten him with a shoe.
The police have also presented the forensic report of blood stains on the clothes of 17 accused including Darshan, Pavitra in the charge sheet.
Recently, a video of Darshan drinking tea and smoking cigarettes from jail went viral. After this, Karnataka CM ordered to shift him to another jail.
Renukaswami was missing one ear
The police found from Renukaswamy's postmortem report that she had been brutally beaten up. She was given electric shocks to torture her. There were several injury marks on her body and one ear was missing.
All these evidences prove that Renuka was brutally beaten up, following which she died. Later, the accused disposed of the body.
The deceased Renukaswamy was a fan of Darshan. According to media reports, he had sent objectionable messages to Pavithra, in revenge for which he was first tortured and then murdered.
Darshan is in jail since June 11
Darshan has been in jail since June 11 on charges of murdering his 33-year-old fan Renukaswamy. In January 2024, Kannada actress Pavitra Gowda celebrated her 10th anniversary with Darshan. This brought their relationship into controversy as Darshan is already married.
Renukaswamy was very angry with this news. He was constantly messaging Pavitra and asking her to stay away from Darshan. Initially, Pavitra ignored his messages, but later Renukaswamy started sending objectionable messages and threats.
Pavitra provoked him to murder his fan
After this, Pavitra instigated Darshan to kill Renukaswamy. She also asked him to punish her. Darshan kidnapped Renukaswamy with the help of his friends. Everyone took him to a godown where he was tortured before being murdered.
According to the police, Darshan and his companions beat Renuka Swami to death in the godown. After the murder, Darshan's companions' clothes were soaked in blood. They went to a nearby Reliance store and bought new clothes and changed them there.
19 people including Darshan and Pavitra are accused in this entire case.
Police found Renukaswamy's body on June 9
Renukaswamy's body was found near an apartment in Kamakshipalya area of Bengaluru on June 9. When the police investigated the area around the crime scene, they saw Darshan and Pavitra coming out of the crime scene in CCTV footage. The mobile numbers of both were active in the same area from 11 pm to 3 am.
After this, Darshan and Pavitra were arrested on June 11. In this case, 19 people including Darshan and Pavitra are behind bars.
