Mumbai Police has registered a case of cheating against famous director-choreographer Remo D'Souza and his wife Lizelle D'Souza and five other people. Now in this matter, a press note was issued by Remo D'Souza Entertainment (RDEPL) on Monday, in which it has been said that all these news are false. RDEPL has nothing to do with it. We will cooperate with the investigating agency and produce all documents as and when required.

On behalf of the company, it has been said that we have come to know that an FIR has been lodged at Mira Road Police Station on behalf of Veer Govindam Navrottam, in which the names of seven people including RDEPL are included. Apart from this, the complainant has filed a petition in the High Court, in which he has said that the police is not taking action on his complaint.

The company further said that we want to make it clear that RDEPL and its directors (Remo and Liezel) have nothing to do with this fraud of Rs 11.96 crore. These allegations are mainly leveled against Omprakash Chauhan, who is the co-founder of the same dance group (VUnbeatable), who has filed a petition in the High Court seeking appropriate directions to register an offense against the group manager Mahesh and others. Have done. The matter is currently pending in the High Court.

Complaint lodged at Mira Road Police Station Let us tell you, the 26 year old victim dancer had lodged his complaint at Mira Road Police Station in Mumbai on 16 October. According to this complaint, the dancer and his group were defrauded between 2018 and July 2024.

This group had won by performing in a reality show. The complainant says that Remo and other accused pretended that the group belonged to them and usurped the prize money of Rs 11.96 crore won by them.

In this case, the police have registered a case in the name of Remo D'Souza, his wife Liezel D'Souza, Omprakash Shankar Chauhan, Rohit Jadhav, Frame Production Company, Vinod Raut, Ramesh Gupta and one other person. The case is being investigated.
