'Mastermind of attack on Israel hides in Rafah'
Hamas still has one last chance. Israel is fully prepared for an attack in Rafah. The army had deployed two more reserve forces a few days ago. Hamas leader al-Sinwar is believed to be the mastermind behind the massacre in Israel on October 7 last year. About 1,200 Israeli soldiers and civilians were killed in the attack and more than 200 people were kidnapped in Gaza. Israel claims Al-Sinwar is hiding in tunnels in the city of Rafah.
Possibility of a new deal for the release of the hostages
According to Israeli media reports, the new talks between Egyptian and Israeli representatives were intended to focus on the release of the hostages with Hamas. According to the new agreement, some women, elderly and sick hostages will be released. Hamas rejected the US proposal to release 400 such abducted people. According to him, many hostages who fall into these categories do not survive. Hamas is demanding a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, which the Israeli government is rejecting.
Israel prepares to attack Rafah
Israel has completed all preparations to capture the city of Rafah. Now, as soon as the government approves, Israel is also preparing to start the military operation. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said a few days ago that Israel will proceed to attack Rafah in Gaza, where Israeli forces have not yet reached. Now a spokesman for Netanyahu's government has said that Israel's Defense Ministry had purchased 40,000 tents to evacuate Palestinians from Rafah before the attack, each with a capacity of 10 to 12 people. Meanwhile, the United Nations has also called on Israel to refrain from attacking the town of Rafah.
