This time the story of Gitanjali Mishra in Success Story. Gitanjali Mishra has appeared in more than a dozen serials. She cried while telling the story of her struggle and success.
“My relatives proved to be the villains. When I joined the industry, they started taunting me. My father had passed away long ago. Relatives started speaking ill of my mother. They used to say that she would make her daughter do wrong things for money. Is.”
While saying this, actress Geetanjali Mishra burst into tears. Geetanjali, who has appeared in many TV serials and films, had a very difficult initial time.
She said, 'I used to cry tears of blood at one time. The family had drawn a boundary for me. I always worked within it. Despite this, people used to talk wrong about me and my family. Today when I have made a name for myself, the same relatives follow me around. I source my children so that I can get them work in the industry.
Gitanjali became emotional many times while telling the story of her struggle and success. However, there was no decrease in his enthusiasm and confidence.
Mother first veils, then opens the door 'I come from a middle class Brahmin family. Although I was born in Mumbai, our roots are from Banaras. When I was little, my father passed away. Mother has raised me alone.
The women in my house still wear the veil. If someone rings the doorbell, the mother first removes her veil and then opens the door. Now this would have made it clear what would have been the atmosphere regarding films in my family.
Even film magazines were not available in the house, because the heroines on the front page were in short clothes. 'Well, forget about films, even show biz magazines were not available in my house. The family members had a problem with this because the heroines were seen in short clothes on their page. I was always told to stay within the rules. There was no freedom to do anything out of the box.
Wanted to become a cosmetic consultant, but fate had something else in mind 'I wanted to become a cosmetic consultant after completing my studies. However, fate had something else in store. In the building where I live in Mumbai, a woman named Seema Sharma lives. She was associated with the direction department in the television industry. He and I have a good friendship.
He needed a female artist for the role of a doctor in the serial Piya Ka Ghar. He asked me so I sent a girl to him. Everything was finalized, but on the day of the shoot the girl did not reach the set.
I had made a mistake, so I had to compensate. 'Since I was the one who recommended that girl. Obviously, the responsibility became mine. I got a call asking whom have you sent, now how will the shoot be completed? I apologized to him. I asked Seema to tell me what can I do? He said that you yourself come and act. I had not even remotely thought about acting, but at that time there was no other option but to go there.
Alok Nath suddenly called, she went to him scared 'I went to the set feeling scared. My eyes were dazzled as soon as I saw the star cast of the serial for which I had gone. Many big artists like Alok Nath, Suhasini Mule and Sulabha Arya were part of the serial.
As soon as I reached there, I was told that there was no time for much explanation, read the script quickly and get ready for the shot. What could I do, in a moment I remembered the one-page script and spoke in front of the camera.
As soon as the shot ended, people started clapping. I remained ignorant, did not understand why this applause was happening. Then Alok Nath ji called me. I was scared, I thought I had committed some mistake. He said son, was this your first time? I said- Yes sir, I have faced the camera for the first time. He clapped and said that you have done a great job.
I didn't look at acting again for two years, then a coincidence happened. 'Well, after this I did not look back towards acting for two years. Then two years later, another similar incident happened. Once again Seema remembered me.
This time he called me for Sony TV's show 'Ek Ladki Anjani Si'. I worked in that show for 6 months. Soon after this, I got a lead offer in a show on Doordarshan. Now gradually I started feeling that perhaps I was made for this work.
Relatives started saying – Mishra ji's daughter is gone. 'I used to go to the sets with Seema didi (director) and then return home with her. Because of this, even the mother did not worry much. She knew that I would not go on any wrong path. However, my relatives did not like my joining the industry. They started saying – Hey, Mishra ji's daughter got out of hand. He felt the air of Bombay.
Those who once committed character assassination, today get their children incarcerated. 'Now the interesting thing is that the people who used to call me and my mother wrong, today take photographs when we meet. I source my children so that I can get them work somewhere. Neighbors also respect my mother after seeing her. It is said that you are Gitanjali's mother, right? They discuss my serials with mother.
Seeing all this makes me laugh and at the same time I also get to learn. This teaches us that if you have cried tears of blood, then sooner or later those tears will definitely turn into pearls.
When an elderly woman said- I will hit you with slippers 'I have worked in many episodes of Crime Patrol and Savdhaan India. There I have done mostly negative roles. Once I played such a negative role that people started criticizing me outside. One day I was roaming in the mall. Then an elderly woman came to me and said – Don't you feel ashamed, how can you do such a bad thing? I will take out my slippers and hit you.
I was shocked for some time after listening to the woman. Felt a little bad also. Started wondering whether I play such a dirty role? However, later I realized that I should take the woman's words as a compliment. Perhaps I acted so well on screen that people started considering me the same in real life too.
