Bhuvan Bam has made three web shows of his own.
Earlier one had to give auditions to appear in films. Source had to be installed. Yes, I had to attend. Then came the era of smartphones. People started showcasing their talent by making videos through this. A boy from Delhi became famous in 2015 because of some such videos.
Gradually he became a YouTube star. Subscribers were in crores. It did not take time to reach Mumbai from Delhi. In a very short time he became a celebrity from a YouTuber. We are talking about Bhuvan Balm.
Bhuvan has now become a producer and has made three web shows of his own. There is a story behind why he became a producer.

Used to mimic teachers in school and was fond of singing along. Recalling his childhood, Bhuvan said, 'I used to mimic teachers in school. Everyone in the house had a strong sense of humor, hence my nature since childhood was also funny. However, apart from this, I was most interested in music. I used to sing songs. I was in the fourth class when my family organized a music class. The family felt that I could become a singer.
Went to pizza parlor and said- need a job as delivery boy Bhuvan wanted to earn money at an early age. He started feeling shy in asking money from his family members. It was not that the parents did not give money. Once he became so upset that he took a scooter to a pizza parlor.
Bhuvan went inside and said- I want the job of a delivery boy. The pizza guy looked at him from top to bottom. He said angrily that it is the age of education, concentrate on it now. He chased Bhuvan away from there.
Took admission in Delhi University, but was disillusioned with studies Meanwhile, Bhuvan's studies continued. He graduated in History from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Delhi University. Bhuvan says, 'I wanted to take admission in Delhi University only because of my friends.
Although the cutoff of one college there was 93%, some of mine were 75%. With so many marks, only History department was getting it. I also finally took admission in it. Now, admission was taken keeping friends in mind, but our classes were held at different timings. It was not possible to meet friends. Because of this, gradually I started becoming disillusioned with studies.
Bhuvan started singing in restaurant, used to get Rs 3500 After the study chapter was over, Bhuvan now wanted to completely dive into singing. Through someone he knew, he got a job as a deli in Delhi's Moti Mahal restaurant.
Bhuvan further said, 'My job was just to stand with the guitar. For this work I got Rs 3500 per month. I thought that I am getting money just by standing with the guitar, how much money would I get if I learned it. Then I started learning guitar. Although I kept humming with my guitar, people kept wandering here and there. Someone is lying with a beer in his hand, while someone is lost in his fun.
No one paid any attention to my singing. It was a very strange feeling at that time. It seemed that talent was not valued. Since I was getting paid for this work, I used to leave quietly.
Be that as it may, Bhuvan's work in singing was going well. Then what happened that Bhuvan started making videos on social media? Actually, this is from 2014. There was a severe flood in Kashmir. A reporter had done very strange reporting from there without any sympathy. Bhuvan posted a video on Facebook taking a dig at the same. That video went viral within no time. That video went viral more in Pakistan than in India. Initially Bhuvan was considered a Pakistani. He used words like 'adaab' and 'huzoor' in his videos.
Father was addicted to alcohol, Bhuvan stopped him, but it did not make any difference Bhuvan was becoming a sensation with every passing day. Good money was coming every month from YouTube. Within no time, he became one of the biggest YouTubers in the country. However, things were not right in personal life.
Actually, his father had a bad habit of drinking alcohol. His dosage was increasing with time. Initially Bhuvan did not care, but later he also felt that this habit was not right. He also tried to interrupt him a couple of times, but it had no effect on the father. The situation was such that on one hand Bhuvan was cutting the cake of completing 10 million subscribers, on the other hand there was an atmosphere of distress in the house.
Arguments started at home Many times it used to happen that there would be a lot of arguments between father and son. Bhuvan used to make videos with full enthusiasm in the midst of arguments at home. He did not allow any lines of worry to appear on his face. It is said that it is very easy to make people cry, but very difficult to make them laugh. Things were not so good in Bhuvan's life, yet he used to make people laugh through different characters.
People used to call him cheap Johnny Depp, Bhuvan used to get upset. Initially Bhuvan used to keep his hair long. In the videos, he was always seen with long hair. Seeing his appearance, people used to call him cheap Johnny Depp. These things were continuously written in his comment box.
In the beginning, Bhuvan was a little worried. However, later they started taking it positively. It so happened that he once went to South Korea in connection with an award. There someone actually called him Johnny Depp. Then Bhuvan felt very bad about this.
Shahrukh was called in the first episode of funny talk show Meanwhile, Bhuvan started a funny talk show on YouTube named Titu Talks. He called Shahrukh Khan in the very first episode of the series. Some people compare Bhuvan's life journey with Shahrukh. Both are from Delhi, both have no background. Both are tops in their respective fields.
On this comparison, Bhuvan says, 'I respect the sentiments of those who compare, but even taking the name of me and Shahrukh sir in the same sentence is a sin. Forget about now. If I could achieve even 0.5% as much as him in the next 30 years, it would be a lot. I feel nervous after hearing this comparison.
While making videos on YouTube, Bhuvan started feeling that he could also do films and series, but he started getting rejections.
Bhuvan felt that he was still not doing full justice to his talent. He felt that he should work in films and series, so that he can tell people that he is not made just for making short videos. However, when I went to ask for work, I was told – You make videos only within the four walls. Doing films and series is not your cup of tea.
Fed up with rejections, starts production house Did Now, after hearing such words, Bhuvan had two things to do. Firstly, he would have sat down feeling sad due to the rejection. Or secondly, he would actually go back to making comedy videos inside the four walls. Bhuvan did not do both. In fact, he launched his own production house – BB Ki Vines Production.
Today Bhuvan rejects the script First he made the series Dhindora under the banner of BB Ki Vines Production. Then made latest news. Its season-2 was also released. Now Dhindora Season 2 is about to come. Bhuvan also has a film next year.
The situation is that the Bhuvan who was rejected by the industry, today the same Bhuvan is rejecting scripts from line to line. Bhuvan says that he will say yes to a film only if he gets a respectable role. If he is seen only as a comedy character, he will refuse.
